Consolidation & Financial Reporting Lead
Summary Description:
As Consolidation & Financial Reporting Lead, you will take ownership of the group’s consolidated financial reporting, ensuring accurate, IFRS-compliant results across a complex, multi-entity international organization.
You will lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation cycle end-to-end – from intercompany reconciliations and eliminations through to the delivery of group reporting packs for senior leadership.
Working closely with local finance teams, senior stakeholders, and external auditors, you will strengthen financial governance, drive consistency in accounting policies across entities, and build a scalable, well-controlled reporting function capable of supporting the group’s continued growth.
This is a senior, high-visibility role for an experienced accounting professional who is comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, multi-currency environment.

The Consolidation & Financial Reporting Lead operates within a complex, international finance environment, with consolidation responsibility spanning multiple legal entities and jurisdictions across regions such as APAC, EMEA, and LATAM.
The role carries significant technical ownership of the group consolidation process and exercises considerable judgment in setting and applying accounting policy, working closely with senior finance leadership, external auditors, and local finance teams.
This is a senior individual-contributor role with the potential to grow into people leadership as the finance function scales, and it has direct, visible impact on the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of the group’s financial reporting.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years’ progressive experience in Accounting, Audit, or Group Financial Reporting, including significant multi-entity consolidation exposure.
- Strong technical command of IFRS, including consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and FX translation.
- Proven experience operating within an international, multi-currency group structure; Big 4 or industry group-reporting background a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor team members and to partner effectively with senior finance and business stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; hands-on experience with consolidation/ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, Oracle) preferred.
- Fluent, professional English, written and spoken, essential.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation process across multiple entities, delivering accurate, IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements.
- Own intercompany accounting end-to-end, including reconciliations, eliminations, FX translation, and transfer pricing alignment.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and consolidation policies to safeguard group assets and ensure audit readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement of the close and consolidation process, identifying and leading initiatives to automate and streamline reporting.
- Deliver accurate, insightful group reporting packs and variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) to senior leadership.
- Partner with local finance teams across entities to ensure consistent accounting policies and reporting standards group-wide.
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process, maintaining complete, audit-ready documentation.

Key Competencies/Skills:
- Deep technical expertise in IFRS, consolidation, and financial controlling concepts (cash flow, working capital, cost and profit center analysis).
- Strong command of intercompany processes, including invoicing, cost allocation, and SLA/transfer pricing frameworks.
- Ability to navigate organizational and cultural complexity across a multi-country, multi-functional group.
- Strong leadership presence: a confident communicator and negotiator able to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions.
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight group reporting deadlines.
